As you may already know, the Honda Accord has always offered top quality and reliability in a fun-to-drive package. Along the way, the Accord has stood for innovation in terms of manufacturing, environmental performance, safety and even luxury. Although the first Accord was in 1976, it was in 1982 that the Accord would become the first Japanese-nameplate vehicle produced in the United States. The name Accord was actually derived from Honda's unremitting effort to achieve "accord" between people, society, and the automobile through quality and advanced technology. The first Accord introduced with a 1.6 liter engine and 68 horsepower was rather different than other traditional models in that time. However, the success seemed almost immediate. Now with the release of the 8th generation Accord, Honda has certainly seen a great track history, even making Car and Driver's 10Best 23 times!
The 2009 Honda Accord has come a long way from where it began 0ver 33 years ago. This live video walk around should help you understand just a little bit more about this incredible machine. For more information about the Accord complete line-up of models please visit our showroom at Proctor Honda located at 2373 W. Tennessee St. Tallahassee, FL 32304.

At Proctor Honda in Tallahassee, it is our commitment to provide you the very best Honda pricing and service available. In today's marketplace it seems like everyone is offering something that makes them the right place to do business with. While some offers may be legitimate, others are a tactic to improve sales by offering something that sounds too good to be true. As the old saying goes "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." As rational consumers, we can all agree that the terms like "free" and "for life" are usually associated with fine print and multiple stipulations.
To help arm our valued community, we offer this guide to "Tires for Life" and "Warranty for Life" programs you may encounter. These are a series of questions that may help you learn more about "Tires for Life" or "Warranty for Life" programs that other dealers may offer.
Will maintenance outside of the Honda dealership affect my "Tires for Life" warranty?
Why would standard maintenance occurring outside the Honda dealership void my "Tires for Life" warranty?
What does an oil change or other standard maintenance have to do with my tire warranty?
If I were on a trip away from home and needed my oil changed, would that affect my tires for life warranty?
Does the Honda dealer's maintenance schedule match the manufacturer's schedule?
If my tire pressure is off by a pound or two (but within tire manufacturer specified operating conditions), will this void my "tires for life" warranty?
Is it true that tires will not be replaced until 4/32" (1/8") of the tread remains?
At what tire tread depth does your service department recommend installing new tires?
Is "Warranty for Life" an American Honda product? If not, what company is it through?
What is the percentage of paid claims by the warranty company?
We hope by having a few of the questions answered, you will understand why we at Proctor Honda elect to focus on the Honda product and the excellent customer experience of buying your new Honda here, at Proctor Honda. Our ultimate goal is to have you as a customer "For Life".
